1943 New photos in color

The above original photograph is in black and white.  I found a unique artist, who on his own free time, makes a spectacular effort to turn some old photographs from black and white into color.  He has painstakingly colored several photographs.  I think he does a wonderful job.  His name is Royston Leonard, an electrician from Cardiff, Wales.  Because of his hard work, the 1943 world changes most dramatically in color.  Look at the detail he did.   To venture into the site that provides more examples from the period of 1943-44, press here.
